Laserific
When did laser printers get so cheap?
I saw a Samsung laser printer for $199 the other day. It's 600 x 600 and USB instead of Ethernet, but it's rated at 15 pages/minute.
On doing a little research, though, I've discovered that even 1200 x 1200 printers are $400 or less. Samsung has the ML-1450, and HP has the LaserJet 1200. The 1200 has a copy/scan attachment available, and will work with the standalone JetDirect Ethernet interface.
At $65-80 for a toner cartridge that lasts 2500 or 3500 pages, they're also cheaper than the inkjet I use now.
Anyway, one of these is my current technolust object.
